Heritage jewels in Mumbai have a new address, which is a blend of palatial and magnificence at its best. We are talking about the House of Amrapali, that opened its doors at Mumbai's Juhu recently. Inspired by iconic palaces from our history, the visual styling of the store boasts a narrative that immediately transports one to the origins of the Design House in India's Pink City, Jaipur.
The 2000 sq ft flagship store, divided into two floors, has a full-fledged Rajasthani vibe to it, and immediately takes one back to the design house's origins in Jaipur. As you walk around, authentic white mirror work with chini khanna and modern surface with radiant and massive chandelier with modern surface finishes, give you a feeling of walking around in an poulent ancient palace. Additionally, the muted store interior serves as an ideal backdrop for showstopping jewellery pieces.
Amrapali’s collection entwines the traditional grandiose and modern art in perfect balance. The store comprises sillver, gold and fine jewellery in impressionably magnificent iconic pieces. The collection brings a constellation of various sub-cultural motifs inspired from peacocks, vases, pots, masks etc. along with a varied combination of pearls and beads. The collection at Amrapali is hand beaten to exude authentic raw traditional beauty. The collection also features the trademark Kundan and Minakari necklaces, layered chains, tasseled earrings, small studs and rings available in classic gold-plated and silver.
