Known for its fine gin production, Surrey-based distillery Silent Pool, has now outdone itself. The gin-maker has created a nine-litre bottle of its signature Silent Pool Gin, which is believed to be the largest and most expensive bottle of gin ever.
The one-off release has a retail price of £5,000 and will be exhibited at London’s Hedonism Wines on March 10.
The bottle’s artwork is hand-painted by artist Laura Barrett, who drew inspiration from the botanicals used in the the gin’s creation.
Silent Pool Distillers is located on the Duke of Northumberland’s Albury Estate in the Surrey Hills. Other products in the Silent Pool range include Albury’s Limited Release and Admiral Collingwood Navy Strength gins, a limited release vodka and two small batch eau-de-vies, apricot and plum.
