After successful stints at Nariman Point and Bandra, it is now Juhu's turn to be gifted with a new outlet of The Sassy Spoon. 

Rachel Goenka, one of the head chefs at The Sassy Spoon, has a degree from Le Cordon Bleu and Rachel Allen’s Ballymaloe Cookery School, and has got Mumbai to savour offbeat flavours like basil and chocolate in a single dessert.

Drawing inspirations from her growing up years in Dubai and travels across Europe and America, she began her culinary dream with her flagship restaurant, The Sassy Spoon. Featuring a menu that offers the perfect combination of Indian and international flavours, served in an extremely fun manner, The Sassy Spoon is an extension of Rachel and everything she believes in. It is one of the few stand alone restaurants in India that is part of Gout De France or Good France, a global culinary extravaganza that celebrates the excellence of French cuisine, launched by the French Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Development, H.E. Mr Laurent Fabius, under the aegis of Chef Alain Ducasse.

Combining the many years of experience of Chef Irfan Pabaney – gathered over assignments in Under the over, Indigo and Hakkasan to name a few; with Chef Rachel Goenka’s rigorous training at Le Cordon Bleu and Rachel Allen’s Balleymaloe – The Sassy Spoon is a perfect example of how food can be fun.

The new space is set to launch at the end of this month in Juhu and will blend the urbane nature of a French patisserie with the whimsical nature of The Sassy Spoon’s quirky design.
